Here’s a clear and student-friendly lesson on  Geometry  for CSEC Additional Mathematics, covering: 📐  1. Angles 🔹 Types of Angles: Acute : less than 90° Right : exactly 90° Obtuse : between 90° and 180° Straight : exactly 180° Reflex : more than 180° 🔹 Angle Rules: Angles on a straight line = 180° Angles around a point = 360° Vertically opposite angles are equal Alternate angles (Z-shape) are equal Corresponding angles (F-shape) are equal Co-interior angles (C-shape) add to 180° Example: If one angle on a straight line is 120°, the other is: 180°−120°=60°180°−120°=60° 🔺  2. Triangles 🔹 Types of Triangles: Equilateral : all sides and angles equal (60° each) Isosceles : two sides and two angles equal Scalene : all sides and angles different Right-angled : one angle is 90° 🔹 Triangle Angle Rule: Sum of interior ...

 Algebra  🧮  1. Algebra ✳️  Equations An equation shows that two expressions are equal. Example: Solve: 2x+3=112 x +3=11 Solution: Subtract 3: 2x=82 x =8 Divide by 2: x=4 x =4 ✳️  Inequalities Inequalities compare expressions using symbols like >, <, ≥, ≤. Example: Solve: 3x−5<103 x −5<10 Add 5: 3x<153 x <15 Divide by 3: x<5 x <5 ✳️  Factorization This means writing an expression as a product of its factors. Example: Factor: x2+5x+6 x 2+5 x +6 Find two numbers that multiply to 6 and add to 5: (2 and 3) So: (x+2)(x+3)( x +2)( x +3) ✳️  Algebraic Expressions These are combinations of variables, numbers, and operations. Example: Simplify: 3x+2x−53 x +2 x −5 Combine like terms: 5x−55 x −5 📐  2. Geometry ✳️  Angles A straight line = 180° A triangle = 180° A right angle = 90° Example: If one angle in a triangle is 50° and a...
